How to download fonts without using Creative Cloud?

Hello, I am a new subscriber. I do not want to use/download Creative Cloud. Can I download fonts to my PC so that I can use them in a Word document?

Fonts that are added at the Adobe Fonts web site cannot be downloaded as locally stored font files. However they can be installed for use by all apps in a computer (such as MS Word) by installing them within the Creative Cloud desktop app. Open the CC Desktop app, go to the Fonts section and click the "install family" button next to the fonts you want Word to be able to use.
