How to license font for self-hosting

Hi, I want to use Acumin Pro as a self-hosted font (We have our own CDN etc.) for an internal tool in my company. The FAQ says that the "The font licensing isn't compatible with server installation.". And that "You will need to purchase the appropriate font license [...] from the font foundry directly".

 My questions are:

1. Where can i purchase Acumin Pro directly?

2. Which specific part of the licensing isn't compatible with self hosting?

3. Does it really violate the license to self-host the fonts when they are used purely in an internal tool - there is no public facing aspect?

    1. Not all fonts in Adobe fonts can be licensed directly. But Acumin can be, see http://www.myfonts.com/

    Be sure to get a webfonts license, the standard/default license does not permit web use (this is nothing to do with the Adobe Fonts licensing).

    2,3. Adobe will not supply a font file for activated fonts. So this doesn't need a licensing restriction (though there may be one), you just can't do it. The font files for the Adobe Fonts would cost tens of thousands of dollars just for a basic (non-web) license, so this will never happen.

    Thanks for your answer, I'll check the link you gave.

    Regarding, 2 & 3., you certainly can actaully fetch the fonts and host them yourself, adobe provides all the font files via the remote CSS that you are supposed to embed in your html. However it is now clear to me why they have kind of hidden these files away.
