If a font is available in Premiere Pro, is it part of the Adobe Fonts licence?

I've seen fonts that are available in Premiere Pro, but they don't appear in the Adobe Fonts search.

    Hi @Edward2672461109do,

I would like to inform you that, yes, if a font is available in Premiere Pro or any other Adobe application, it is typically part of the Adobe Fonts library and is covered by the Adobe Fonts license.

Adobe Fonts is a subscription-based service that provides access to a vast collection of fonts for use in Adobe applications. When you have an active Adobe Fonts subscription, you can access and use the included fonts in Premiere Pro and other Adobe software.

It's important to note that the availability of fonts in Adobe Fonts can vary depending on the specific subscription plan you have or the specific fonts included in your Adobe Creative Cloud subscription. Some fonts may require an additional licensing agreement or may have usage restrictions beyond the Adobe Fonts license.

Please check this article and let us know if that helps:- https://helpx.adobe.com/fonts/using/font-licensing.html#act-img

    Regards,

    Tarun

If the font is not available at https://fonts.adobe.com, it's not part of the fonts collection from Adobe, and it will come with its own licence. Even when it's available in the library, but the user sources it from a different source, the licence that comes from that source is valid.  So, your answer is only correct, when the font is sourced from Adobe fonts.

Premiere Pro - like all apps - shows all the fonts in your Windows or Mac system. They might be

    - Adobe Fonts (activated)

    - Fonts which came with Mac or Windows

    - Fonts which came with another app

    - Fonts you purchased or downloaded.

    Hi @Edward2672461109do ,

Could you please check  https://fonts.adobe.com/ to know if you find the fonts you are looking for to activate it there and then try to use them in the application? I do see Myriad fonts on the website. Please let me know if you find anything such.

We hope to hear from you soon.

    Regards,

    Hi Edward,

To answer your question yes once you activate the fonts in fonts.adobe.com it becomes available for you to use in different applications of Adobe. For us to understand it more, could you please let us know the fonts you have issues with? It would be great if you could share a screenshot for more clarity.

We hope to hear from you soon.

    Regards,

I've found fonts including Tahoma, Kristen ITC, and Comic Sans MS, which are available in Premiere Pro, but don't appear in the Adobe Fonts library.
