Interstate Light - Missing font is installed on Adobe Fonts

I have the complete suite of Interstate activated from Adobe Fonts.

However I have problems with just the 'Light' weight, which won't load into my Indesign documents.

When I open Indesign, I get a missing fonts alert, if I click activate it just get a spinning wheel and it won't resolve.

 

I also cannot select the Light from the Character panel either.

 

How can I resolve this issue?

    The first troubleshooting step I would take is re-boot the computer and re-launch InDesign to see if that fully refreshes the fonts list. Since the Light style of Interstate is missing from InDesign it shouldn't be an issue of whether the font was installed for all apps in the Creative Cloud desktop app. On the other hand it might be worth it to try installing the fonts for all apps if the family wasn't installed already. Make sure your installation of InDesign is actively logged into your CC account.

     

    Are you running any font management applications? A couple of rival graphics applications have their own font mangement utilities; they can cause some technical issues with fonts -such as making some weights in certain type families disappear from the font menu.
