Italic Small Caps Missing in Minion 3?

Hi,

I decided to use Minion 3 for my dissertation instead of Minion Pro, partly because I liked the updated Greek and it features the prime symbol which I use to number different carbons (chemistry is the subject).

I understand that Minion 3 is missing the "condensed" series from Minion Pro which is no problem because I do not use it. However, I wanted to set some text in italic small caps and had to notice that those are also absent in Minion 3. Is this intentional? It seems rather weird to not have true italic small caps included in this typeface.

Obviously, I can switch to Minion Pro for those parts, but it just seemed weird to me.
