Question

Line-Height Issue on site with Adobe Font

Hi everyone,

I'm facing a line-height issue on my website that seems to be caused by an Adobe Font. The text is displaying with extra white space above, making it look misaligned rather than evenly spaced. I've tried adjusting line-height in CSS, but the issue persists. When switching to a system font, the spacing appears normal.

I've attached a screenshot showing the problem. Has anyone else encountered this? Any suggestions on how to fix it?
Font is :

"gesta"

Thanks in advance!

    Hi

    @ashok_8063

    ,

    Welcome to the community! Could you please share the CSS Declaration you're using along with the URL of the website to check? Also, which browser and operating system are you using?

    We're here to help, just need some info.

    Regards,

    Tarun

    I'm having this same issue. It only appears on paragraph tags, not heading tags. The attached screenshot is from a very simple HTML file with no additional styling applied.

    Slight correction, it has nothing to do with the HTML tag, rather font weights. The issue only applies to the 400 weight, not the 700 weight.
