MAX 2021 Update – Adobe Fonts in Stock and Marketplace, plus a new homepage and more!

What’s New for Fonts at MAX 2021?

The Adobe Fonts library now offers over 20,000 high-quality fonts, included in most Creative Cloud subscriptions. This expansion increases our offering for Japanese and Korean fonts by 50% from last year.

Adobe Stock and Marketplace

Adobe Fonts is integrated into the new Stock & Marketplace, providing users with a new starting point for choosing fonts and a center for inspiration directly within the Creative Cloud desktop app.

• Easily navigate to new and currently trending fonts in the library from the Fonts panel in Stock & Marketplace.
• Discover inspiration for your projects in unexpected places with a host of browsing options that go beyond the basic—from exploring type designers and foundry partners to catching up on the latest Adobe Fonts livestream. 
• Find a consistent experience and unified navigation with a new look on the Adobe Fonts homepage.

Auto-activation in Adobe Illustrator desktop

Illustrator users can now experience the same font auto-activation feature enjoyed in Photoshop, InDesign, XD and mobile apps. Missing fonts that are available in the library are now seamlessly activated when a document is opened.
