Hello All,

I would like to understand if it is ok to modify fonts as it appears there is conflicting information about this in the FAQs and Terms of Use. Can anyone clarify?

FAQ's - Can I modify the look of a font and use it for commercial purposes?
Yes, you can modify or decorate type that you have converted to outlines. The resulting image may be copyrighted or registered as a trademark, or used in commercial products.

You may not make changes to the font software file itself

One more thing: for the fonts in the Adobe Fonts subscription you cannot get a copy of the font file, so you cannot make a new modified font.

See bold! You can't modify a font, however, to create a new font of that.
