New Font

I would like to know whether Adobe makes fonts based on script in which a language is written (In this case for 'Modi Script') which can be used anywhere in the digital world. Modi Script was the primary script used for writing "Marathi" language.

 I'm a Graphic Designer and would like to know what needs to be done for making a new font from scratch as I'm new to this aspect.

 I would be honoured if I could, in anyway, contribute towards the making of the font.
