Notification: "16 Fonts added", every time I start the computer (?)

It all started with a notification that over a hundred fonts had been added, then I repeatedly got a message saying that a number of fonts had been removed. In its latest iteration I keep getting a message in the Windows 10 notification column that 16 fonts have been added, every time I start or reboot the computer.

 

I can't see any changes in my installed fonts within Photoshop that would reflect these messages.

 

Yes, I could turn off notifications for fonts, but that doesn't solve the problem, plus, there are other notifications of fonts about to expire which I need to be aware of.

 

Any suggestions on how to fix this problem would be appreciated.

    Thanks for reaching out. Could you please let us know the Creative Cloud Desktop app version you're using? Please ensure it is updated. Try resetting the Creative Cloud desktop app by making sure it's in the foreground, then press:

    Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
    Mac: Cmd + Opt + R

     

    You may also try uninstalling the app and reinstalling it to see if that helps.

    It took me a while to get around to doing this, as it's a hassle.

    Since my original post, I've noticed other people have posted similar complaints.

    You failed to mention that you cannot just uninstall Adobe Cloud. You have to uninstall all Adobe applications first. In spite of doing that, I found Adobe Cloud was stating that there were still some (unspecified) apps that had not been uninstalled, so I eventually had to use a special Adobe uninstallation app to remove Adobe Cloud. After doing so, and reinstalling all my Adobe apps, I had peace from the notifications for a bout 2 days. Now, every time I boot the computer, I get a "4 fonts have been installed" message.

    What an absolute pain this is.
