Numbers in circles and squares

Hi all,

Does fonts.adobe.com have any specialty number fonts showing numbers inside circles and squares? I couldn't find any. Is there a trick to discovering that?

I don't think there is a way to find such features with the current site design of Adobe Fonts. What we need is an equivalent to the Glyphs panel in Adobe Illustrator or InDesign -or at least a glyphs table similar to what can be viewed at the MyFonts web site. Still, even with a proper glyphs table I'm not sure if there is a standardized naming system for a character range featuring numerals inside circles and/or squares.

I bought copies of the Helvetica Now and Helvetica Now Variable families years ago when they were first introduced. That's one of the few type families I can think of that has a complete set of such characters. It has numerals inside outlines of circles and squares. It also has numerals punched through solid circles and squares. Monotype added limited families of some versions of Helvetica to Adobe Fonts, but none of Helvetica Now.

Some of the Asian CJK fonts included with Illustrator and InDesign have glyphs with numerals in circles and squares (solid and outline).

As for fonts available thru Adobe Fonts, I don't know of any off hand that have both circle and square number sets. The new Chidori VF family has numerals in cirlces. So does Aptos from Microsoft. It's a process of trial and error to see if a font has a certain character set; I can try adding it and then checking its glyphs table in Illustrator. Or I can try cross-referencing the font at the MyFonts web site -if the font is actually available at MyFonts. Some commercial type families at Adobe Fonts are not available to buy at the MyFonts site.
