Photoshop font wont install

I can't seem to get photoshop fonts to install on my computer. It is specific fonts and not all - is there a reason one font would not install? I have tried booting and rebooting this computer and the apps to no avail - is there another way to get this font to install?

    What kind of fonts are you trying to install? Could they Postscript Type 1 fonts? If so, those kinds of fonts are no longer supported in Adobe applications.
