Recurring problem with Montserrat and Inter fonts not syncing

Hi, my collegues and I have been having recurring issues with the Montserrat and the Inter fonts not syncing and missing from all files when opened.

This issue has been going on a while now and its getting really frustrating. I've occasionally gotten it to work by logging in and out of CC multiple times, and turning the fonts on and off until it.....mysteriously works?? But it hasn't worked this time and honestly, what kind of solution is that really? I've even turned my computer on and off and made sure all my apps and CC are up to date.

Any help on fixing these issues is appreciated as this isn't only an issue with me. Several of my collegues have reported having those issues with the same fonts.

Is everyone in your group using versions of Montserrat and Inter only from Adobe Fonts? Since both type families are also available to download at Google Fonts I wonder if any documents could have a mix of the two versions.
