Question

Searching for Revolutionary Font

I hired someone to design some covers for a series of books about state symbols. They used the fonts Bandbox, Actay, and Cocogoose.

I purchased Bandbox, but I'd like to find a cheaper alternative to the others.

Right now I'm working on a book titled Flag Quest -- https://symbols.geobop.com/flag-quest/

I'm thinking of using completely different fonts for headings inside the book. The theme can described with key words like defiance or revolt. I'm thinking of fonts that suggest excitement or radical change.

Can anyone suggest a font(s) along this line? I don't know if it would necessarily have to complement Bandbox. The fonts inside a book can be different from those used on the cover, right?

Thanks for any tips.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. Please check this community link and let us know if that helps: https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-fonts-discussions/recommended-font-for-definitions-amp-examples...

Also, Adobe Fonts filters the font styles using descriptive tags so you can select one that matches the tone of the title or project.

Let us know if that helps.

Regards,

Tarun

Thanks. I saw that, but nothing really clicked. On second glance, however, I'm thinking Clean or Rounded might work. I do like the font Futura, which I think might fall into one of those categories.

Thanks for your response. You may go to the website, i.e. https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts & under the descriptive tags, you can click on view more to see more results.

I hope this will allow you to find a font that fits your theme.

Regards,

Tarun
