Some Free Font Offer

I received an email from Adobe today (July 29, 2021) at 12:04 pm PDT. It offered a free dowbload of the font "Poster Compressed." At 12:20 pm PST on the same day I tried download the font. On web page https://creativecloud.adobe.com/discover/article/font-giveaway-poster-compressed?trackingid=VPM4K7K3&mv=email, I received the message "Note: This limited-time giveaway has expired."

If Adobe wants to make paying Adobe Cretive Cloud subscribers angry, this is certainly one way to do it.

For what it's worth, the page now says "Our apologies if you received an email promoting a Poster Compressed giveaway. It was sent in error."

Received email LAST NIGHT AT 10:22PM offering free font.

Opened email this morning at 5:30 a.m, seven hours later. Link sent me to "https://creativecloud.adobe.com/cc/discover/article/font-giveaway-poster-compressed"  where it said..."Note: This limited-time giveaway has expired."  SEVEN HOURS LATER? By the way, no mention of any limitation in the email. If it was a limited offer, it should have stated the limitation.

Hey, Adobe, looking to anger your customer base? Your customer service people via chat and phone were clueless and their suggestion was to go to the font troubleshooting page. Seriously disappointed in the lack of service.

    SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME.

Customer support, or what they claim to be customer support, is useless.

Sticking a blue banner across the bottom of all my Adobe InDesign documents telling me I am about to be charged to use replacement fonts that I have been using since Pagemaker day is another.

The best of all is the way that InDesign suddenly quits for no apparent reason either costing me lost layouts or a total waste of time starting it all up again.

HOW COME I NOW HAVE TO PAY FOR A FAR WORSE SERVICE THAN I HAD WHEN I COULD LOAD THE SOFTWARE OFF A CD?????
