Web font rendering on Windows, low resolution screen

I'm considering the web font Acumin for a client, but have run into a fairly typical scenario where it does not render well: On an external screen with normal / low resolution (in this case a 24 inch with 93ppi).

In general, Acumin falls short of Arial. Look at how the bold, lowercase "e" collapses into a circle.
