Weights of Swear Text in body text

Question

Hi, I am using Swear Text from Ohno in body text. The *regular* weight is actually 500. However, even at 500 I am finding it very light. If I go to 600 it is too heavy - there is a jump. Has anyone else had this issue and found a workaround? Thanks.

Hi @lorcan_8540, I hadn't tried that font before, so I tested it out. I see what you mean. In your body text, what point size are you using? It might not be that readable for large blocks of text at 11 or 12 points. Do you have to use it for this application or could you switch to something else? There really isn't a workaround that I can think of to make a font darker without changing to another weight unless you have font software and could recreate a version of it…
