Adobe font in Premiere Pro mobile app

I’ve recently started editing in the Premiere Pro mobile app. I’ve realised most of my fonts downloaded in Adobe are not available in the app version. When i ask the internet what to do, it either says “download the creative cloud mobile app and activate the fonts on your device” however the Creative Cloud mobile app is not available from 2nd of Feb 2026 so that’s not an option. The other solution is to download the font to my mobile however to download the font outside Adobe is more than 100$ and I can’t find a way to download it to my device from Adobe.

What do I do to to get my Adobe font to the Premiere Pro mobile app?

Hi Salouja! Let’s see if we can help you get your font onto your mobile device. Here’s a video tutorial on YouTube that shows how to complete these steps.

Your fonts are saved as .OTF files on your computer. Try to transfer that .OTF file to your iPhone. It will save in your Files app on your iPhone. You could try to transfer the font file with Airdrop or Google Drive, to start.

Once it’s in your Files app on your iPhone, you should be able to press and hold on the .OTF file. More options will appear. Select “Open With” to see your phone suggest opening the .OTF font file with Premiere mobile.

Let us know if this helps.

Can you use Adobe Type fonts in the mobile app?

Hi, great question! You can do this if you have Creative Cloud Mobile app downloaded on your iPhone.

  1. In the Creative Cloud app, switch to the Fonts tab.
  2. Browse and select your fonts.
  3. Install a font by tapping on it, then tap the download button in the top right of your phone. It looks like a T with a cloud and a down arrow.
  4. Switch back to Premiere Mobile and search for the font you just downloaded. It will be available in the Style section of the Text & Captions controls.

I hope this helps!
