Question

“Can’t Export. Something went wrong. Please try again.”

I have been attempting to export a video from the Premier Pro IPhone app for the last day, and keep having an issue where about part way through the export it stops, with a screen that says "Can't Export. Something went wrong. Please Try Again."

The video is 12 min long, and consists of about 40 clips. I had also included some transparent PNG images and music, but also attempted to export the video after removing those, and the export still failed when it was just the video clips.  I don't have any effects on the video clips aside from two pieces of audio which have been "enhanced" to remove background noise.

I was able to export the program to the desktop premier pro, but the file gets stuck at 99% when I attempt to open it on my desktop and crashes my PC.

I have already successfully exported a video of the same style last week with the app, so no idea why this one is having issues.

I am using an IPhone 16 Pro Max, I have over 100 available gb of memory, and already attempted to turn on and off my phone, as well as closing the app, renaming the project file, and creating a copy of the file. Exact export is taking around 20 minutes before it fails as well, which deals significantly longer then my last exports.

hopefully there is a solution as I really want to be using mobile versions of premier pro in the future!
thank you!

@maryc17048216 I'm really sorry you're dealing with this frustrating export issue. The 20-minute wait before failure and the desktop crash suggest something specific in this project is causing problems. To help diagnose this properly, could you share your project file with us?

This will allow us to investigate exactly what's causing the export failure:
Step 1:

1. Copy this link and paste it into Safari:

Step 2: Share the Project
  1. Go to the Project Browser screen
  1. Find the problematic project thumbnail
  1. Tap the "(three dots) menu below your project
  1. You should now see "Share Project" as an option
  1. Share it via email (pgaraway@adobe.com) or provide a file sharing link

Once you send it, we can analyze what's causing the failure and hopefully a specific fix. Thanks and Happy New Year!

I attempted to re-edit the video on the IPad version of Premier Pro and I am having the same exact issue
