Has mobile-to-Premiere Pro timeline sync been removed? Only media files are syncing(Missing OTIO)

I’d like some clarification regarding the workflow between Premiere(mobile) and Premiere Pro desktop.

 

Previously, it was possible to start a project on mobile, sync it via Creative Cloud, and then open it in Premiere Pro with the timeline intact — including cuts, clip order, and basic edits.

 

However, currently when I sync a project:

  • Only the media files appear in Premiere Pro

  • The project/timeline itself is not available

This was a very valuable feature for cross-device workflows, so I’d appreciate any insight from the community or Adobe team.

    Hey! Thanks for reaching out about this. This workflow should definitely be working. 

    A few quick questions so I can point you in the right direction:

    1. Which version of Premiere desktop are you using? 
    2. What version of Premiere Mobile are you on? Note that we moved the ‘Send to Pr desktop’ button under the … Menu on the project thumbnail
    3. I'm sure you're already aware of this because you've used it but make sure that you're signed in to the same Adobe ID on both devices

    Hi, thanks for getting back to me!

     

    I wasn’t able to find the “Send to Pr desktop” option earlier, but after updating everything, I can now see it under the three-dot menu on the project thumbnail.

     

    Looks like that solved the issue on my end. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
