Question

I have a problem with 60 fps (59.97 fps) clips.

After I import 4K 59.97 FPS clips recorded on my iPhone into Adobe Premiere, they get converted to around 30 or 25 FPS. I’m not exactly sure, but they are definitely not 60 FPS anymore.

What is the solution? How do I set the project to 60 FPS?

Hi Jeka, thanks for posting. Let’s see how we can help.

Is this 4K 60fps clip in a sequence with other clips of different resolution or frame rate? Premiere Mobile creates your project settings based off of the first clip that is chosen. So if you choose a 30fps clip when creating your project, and then choose then a 60fps clip, your 60fps clip is going to be in a 30fps sequence. I hope I explained it clearly enough.

If your 4K 60fps clip is the first asset you selected when creating your project, let’s do some troubleshooting.

    • Start a new project
    • Import one 4K 60fps clip

If the 4K 60fps clip is the only one in the project, does it behave as expected?

    Let us know
