Media Management on iPhone

On the Premiere Pro mobile app when I import video "Files" from a NAS on my phone, does it copy the media to the device or link to the media?  When sending to Deaktop (Beta) it says it copies the media also but this is unclear what the app is doing in the background when you import media.

Correct answer Peter Garaway

Hey @JonnyMacMedia Good question — yes, when you import media from the Files app (including from a NAS), the app copies those files into a local sandbox on your device. This is standard practice on iOS to ensure the app can reliably access and work with the media, even if the original source becomes unavailable.

And when you send your project to Premiere desktop  those files are copied to the cloud — specifically to your Projects folder at adobe.com/files/projects.

Hope this helps!
