Question

After Effects doesn't add to Media Encoder render queue v 22.5.0 Mac OS M1

When this problem will be solved? Adding files manually not an option for professional software.

Please fix this already!

Not adding via cmd+shift+m, not via dropdown menu, not from original after effects render tab.

All versions of all latest. Already tried to reinstal AE an ME – not working.

Hi,

sorry to hear you have issues exporting via AME. I just tried all three methods (shortcut, via drop down and render queue) and it works for me on my M1. So I guess we have to find out why you see the issue. What is the Comp containing? Does it also fail with a very simple comp containing only text and a fill colour? Also do you have older Ae & Me versions installed in parallel (or maybe even run them in parallel)? Sometimes old and faulty prefs or caches can cause problems so deleting caches and pref folders could help. Does the export via AME also fails if AME is already launched?

Hello!
Thats quite big composition, but there is only text and shapes. Tried new comp with just text – the same result.

Media Encoder opens with shortcut, but render queue still empty.

No more verisons of AE and ME on my mac. Tried to clear cache by deleting folders – not helped.

From AE side – temp projects are made and puts into _AME folder next to project. If I'm dragging that projects to media encoder queue, that selecting composition to render – all renders fine.
