After updating Media Encoder I cannot seem to import mov, avi and mpeg files to export to MP4

To elaborate: I simply need to imprt some avi/mpeg/mov files into Media Encoder however I keep getting the same message: COULD NOT OPEN SOURCE FILE, please check file exhists with required permissions.

I have not had issues with media encoder until this new update. TIA
