Dear all,

I have been downloading applepro res codec on my computer via apple  website : pro video format

I do have final cut, color, dvd studio pro installed on my computer

I have premiere installed as well and It is impossible for me to open a sequence edited in apple pro res format on another computer.

So, I downloaded the Pro res folder presets : "AME CS6 Additional Presets for ProRes" on here : http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=541

And I tried to import them in AME, impossible I always have this error message : "AME Error.tiff

"Preset cannot be imported. No exporter found for this preset."

i have no idea what to do next, I am just completely blocked and don't get why is that, please if someone has any idea, advices, tips for me.

I am getting crazy here !

Thanks in advance.

Take care.

What´s your exact version of AME?

What´s your exact version of Pr?

What´s the exact version of Pr from the "another" computer?

You can export to ProRes without the presets by selecting QuickTime as the Exporter and then under the Video tab select the desired codec under Video Codec.

However, it is still odd that you cannot open a sequence from another computer.

    Thanks for your answer Averdahl,

    AME : CS6

    Premiere : CS6

Premiere from the other computer : CS6 as well, same version

    Final cut 7 installed

    Mac OSX version 10.9.5, mid-2009

Before exporting in prores any sequences, I would like to be able first to open and edit my premiere project and my sequences in order to be able to work further on my laptop...

But when I try to open my premiere project on this laptop the error message appears : "The project contained a sequence that could not be open".

I wonder if the installation system is too old ? It is quite an old laptop and it cannot take system updates cause it gets extremely slow...?

    I found this posted by

You are experiencing this issue because of some missing codecs or presets.

FAQ: Why are some codecs and sequence presets missing from my installation of Premiere Pro?

    Please try these steps:
