AME does not import import sequences as "force alphabetically"

I'm trying to import an image sequence which is not numbered sequentially in its filenames, so I am trying to import with the option "force alphabetical" (or however it is called in English – I'm using a different language).

AME (11.1.0.170) only imports the first frame as a still.

AE (14.2.0.198), on the other hand, imports the same sequence as expected.

Anything I am missing in AME?
