AME Dynamic Link Server is Not Connecting

Hi, 

I've been trying to render videos from AE in AME but the encoding box just sits at "Connecting to dynamic link server" for a long time and then says "Failed" when it's timed out. I've even had trouble with projects not showing up in AME when I add them from AE using the "Add to AME button." I've tried downloading older versions of AE & AME, no luck. I've tried installing the Beta versions, still no luck. I have no plug-ins and all settings are default. Is there anything else I can do to solve this issue?
