AME "import sequences natively'' greyed out

I'm having trouble exporting my videos from Premier Pro 2023 with my color grading. If I do a straight export not using media encoder, all is right with the world, color grading-wise. If I send it to media encoder, my color grading is missing.

A multitude of YouTube videos and webpages tell me that I need to uncheck "import sequences natively'' under preferences in media encoder… However, it is greyed out so I cannot uncheck it.

I also checked and verified that all three subdirectories on my Windows 11 machine are identical in the Lumetri subdirectories of both AME 2023 and Premiere Pro 2023.

Ideas?
