Question

AME renders one file, fails the rest until restart.

Fun issue, exporting multiple sequences from Premiere, one renders and the rest fail with the Error code: -1609629695

Restarting AME after each successful render is my current workaround.

Anyone run into this problem as well?

Great, now it seems the latest version of AME ignores the target VBR for Hardware Accelerated 1-pass mp4 encoding. Estimated file size: 34 mb. Resulting file size: 150 mb. Only 2 pass seems to work properly. Come ooooooonnn Adobe.

Thanks for the reply but I'm calling it a night. I'll post specs and such tomorrow but they're not a weird combo. Intel, Win 10, GTX1070 laptop.

Thanks and please keep this thread focused on the failure and start another thread for the bitrate issue.

FYI: 2-pass encoding does not support hardware acceleration. Difference of 5 times seems excessive...

Concise problem statement and repro steps are important for us to be able to help.

Does it still fail if you disable hardware acceleration?

Thanks,

Seems like the failure to render has something to do with the GPU and the Lumetri effect. Happens consistently and across different machines.

I use a GTX 1070 mobile and a standard GTX 1070 with the latest drivers.

Seems to happen less when I close down Premiere while rendering in AME.

What codec are you encoding to?

Does this happen with other formats?

The more you can tell us about this issue, the better.

System specs, sources info, effects used in the sequence, plugins installed, etc.

Thanks,
