AME using different preset than AE

I set up in AE render queue a Apple ProRes 4444 render and send it to AME. AME changes the ProRes 4444 to GoPro CineForm or H.264 or something else that I didn't choose. Anytime I send a render to AME from AE it changes the format and preset I set in AE. From Premiere it works perfectly.

After Effects CC Version 15.1.2

Media Encoder CC Version 12.1.2

Premiere CC Version 12.1.2

Mac Pro (Late 2013)

2.7 Ghz 12-Core Intel Xeon E5

64 GB 1866 MHz DDR3

AMD Fire Pro D700 6144MB

Hello,

As written in the user guide, unfortunately this is as designed.

"
The output module settings, such as format settings or color channel selection, are not transferred to Adobe Media Encoder when you choose the Queue in AME option. "

Here is the answer I got from an AE engineer.

We don’t transfer over the Output Module settings.

Why? There are significant differences in how AME presents the various output options compared to how AE presents output options in its Output Module Settings. There are many cases where there might not be a direct correspondence between what you’ve set in AE vs. what the options are in AME. Rather than have a confusing set of cases where this functionality might or might not work, it was preferable to not transfer any Output Module Settings at all.
