AME Watch Folder Watches Too Slowly

We're using AME to automatically render using a watch folder. However, in our testing it can take up to several minutes before AME notices new projects to process in the watch folder. We would like to make AME look for new projects in the watch folder as often as possible - it is imperative we cut this delay down to several seconds. Are we overlooking a hidden setting or config file?

Are you watching a network path? If so, perhaps network traffic is slowing this down.

I watch a local folder and it only takes a few seconds, under 10 for sure, before a file is detected.
