Question

Automatic timer and shutdown for Adobe Media Encoder

Hi, I often record every detail of a project I work on in my "work journal."

I want to know if Adobe Media Encoder provides a built-in feature to track render duration and automatically shut down the PC.

As far as I know, the render duration is indeed shown while the process is running, but it disappears once the rendering is finished.

This way, I can truly leave my PC while rendering without having to start or stop a timer using another application.

Thank you.

You can find these details in the render logs that also contain the encode times. Right clock on the encode job's target file You can also find them here:

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Media Encoder\<version>\logs\

That combined with the "Automatically shut doen the compute after finishing the queue" option below the "Render Queue" panel should do the job.

Hope this helps.
