Question

Automatically delete AME temp files after rendering

Every time I send an After Effects comp to the Media Encoder render queue it generates a tmp file stored in the same location of the project. This generates a large amount of files and disk space. Is there a way to automatically delete this files once rendered or, if not, change the location of this AME temp folder. I work with a 15GB Google Drive cloud and it goes out of storage from time to time because of this useless temp files.

Thank you,

Sergi

Just tried on Mac. In my simple scenario there were no temp files. Can you describe your specs (OS, CPU, GPU, memory), your Ae project and your workflow? Maybe you can share a small project that illustrates the issue? I'll try to repro again…

Hello,

this is what my project folder looks like. Every time I send a comp from AE to ME it generates this type of temp files that are not deleted after rendering.

I do not think there is an automatic way to delete the temp files.
