best settings to retain quality

Hi! The best settings depend on where the video will be used. As a general rule, export at your comp’s resolution and frame rate, and avoid unnecessary resizing or re-encoding.

For a high-quality master, use ProRes 422 HQ. For a smaller delivery file, use H.264 with a high bitrate. Where are you planning to share or use the video?
