Hi all,

Thanks for your support, I'm having huge issues with AME in my Lenovo Yoga 910.

The laptop specs are:

OS Name Microsoft Windows 10 Home

Version 10.0.16299 Build 16299

System Manufacturer LENOVO

System Model 80VF

System Type x64-based PC

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz, 2904 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)

BIOS Version/Date LENOVO 2JCN39WW, 31/05/2017

Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 16.0 GB

My Yoga 910-13IKB Laptop consistently crashes when using this specific software.

The errors stated are usually:

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

And one more regarding a faulty driver (stated below).

So far I've:

Restored the system several times (through Lenovo's recovery drive).

Checked SSD & RAM integrity (no issues found).

Checked drivers (all up-to-date). Intel Smart Sound Technology (SST) OED was failing (BSOD above), but I got it to work by rolling back to a previous version (compatible with it's partner driver: Intel Smart Sound Technology (SST) Audio Controller)

Regarding the software (Adobe Media Encoder), I've tried:

Uninstalling and installing again.

Cleaning Media Cache & Media Cache Files.

Removing video & audio previews.

Restoring default preferences.

My sequence settings are: 1920x1080, 25fps, 1.0 square pixels, 48khz audio.

My output settings are: H.264 1920x1080, 25fps, 1.0 square pixels, 12 to 15 mbps bitrate, 320kbps & 48khz audio.

OpenCL Hardware optimization is enabled.

Any new information/suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Kind of an old thread, LukeC, but thought I'd ask you if you ever solved this. Did you?

Thanks,
Kevin
