Can I export a .wav file without XML data?

I delivered wav audio files to a client who is installing them in a device. They play fine on their computers but when played on the device there is noise at the end of the recording. Their engineers have deternmined there is unneeded XML data at the end of the file generating the noise. Is there a way or setting to correct this and, I suppose, remove or save without this XML data?
