Can I pause and skip a video that is rendering??

I am currently rending a super long video and there is still like an hour to go.

I have other short videos a client needed me to make small changes and have prority over the one rendering.

Is there a way to pause the current render, and render the other short videos? or do I have to stop the current rendering making all the time that it was rendering a waste?
