Can I render h.264 with alpha channel?(transparency)

Can I render in adobe media encoder with alpha channel? Or a similar encoder? I'm basically want to make lower thirds and import it in vegas afterwards... I can't use greenscreen in the bg because the colors get messed up... So i basically need tranparency... Anybody can help me out?
