CC 2017 Media Encoder DNxHD Question

I know this is the Premiere Pro forum however I couldn't find a unique AME board.

I am trying to transcode to DNxHD LB 8 bit 1080i files which was or is the equivalent of the previously named DNxHD 45.

There is a DNxHD LB 8 bit 1080p preset however AME has grayed out the ability to change from progressive to upper field and for my particular purpose I need upper field.

Does anyone have any hints as to how to achieve a DNxHD 45 transcode preset with dominance set to upper field?

regards

Lee

I've looked around, and it seems the LB settings of DNxHD are only available in progressive ... everything above that is obviously available in interlaced.

I don't know if you contacted Avid support if they'd know ... they sure don't have a lot about their codec on their website!

    Thanks for looking into that.

I am coming to same conclusion that DNxHD LB is only available in progressive.
