Compress MP4 video for captivate

Dear all

 

I need to compress an MP4 of 700mb to under 150mb for uploading to an MLE.  I have ME and have tried some experiments, all of which look pretty rough.  I have used Handbrake before with superb results.  For this project I can't use handbrake for security reasons.  Does anyone have any advice for setting?  I tried H.264 and for some reason it would not compress.

Hi stephenw30516810,

 

For better compression, you may use HEVC (H.265) format. Also, reducing the Target Bitrate (under Export Settings > Video tab > Bitrate Settings) can help in reducing the file size.
