Error running ExtendScript in Adobe Media Encoder 2025

I’m running an ExtendScript inside Adobe Media Encoder 2025 on macOS and I keep getting this error:

objc[38592]: Class CertificateVerifier is implemented in both /Applications/Adobe Media Encoder 2025/Adobe Media Encoder 2025.app/Contents/Frameworks/Registration.framework/Versions/A/Registration (0x1384658e0) and /Applications/Adobe Media Encoder 2025/Adobe Media Encoder 2025.app/Contents/MacOS/Adobe Media Encoder 2025 (0x104dad930). This may cause spurious casting failures and mysterious crashes. One of the duplicates must be removed or renamed.

  • Environment: macOS [15.6 Sequoia], Adobe Media Encoder 2025 [25.3 Build 73]

  • What I expected: script to run without errors

  • What happens: error above, and doesn't run the script

  • What I tried: reinstalling Media Encoder, clearing prefs

  • Has anyone else encountered this CertificateVerifier duplicate class error?
  • Is this a known bug in AME 2025 or something with ExtendScript?

I'm on an Apple M1 Pro

It might help to add the SDK topic to this. Except that is not a topic in AME! lol.
