EXIF Data Retention

Hi all, seemingly easy question here but I've been unable to come up with a solution.

Simply, I want to use AME to transcode batches of high-res videos to lower-res files ***while retaining all of the EXIF data - including original creation date***.

Tests show that most EXIF data comes across after transcoding with the exception of time/date stamps - which are all set to the AME encoding time/date.

I can't be the only one who has wanted to do this but several hours of tests and searching through forums has revealed nothing.
