Export to Media Encoder from Premiere: Nothing Happens

I see this question was asked a year ago and nobody has answered it. I have the latest 2017 version of both PP and ME. I hit "export" within PP. ME opens---and nothing happens. The video I try to export never shows up in queue. I'll be live chatting & calling soon if you don't give us a solution, Adobe.

    Does it never pop up in ME? A problem I have lately is that I press "Queue" and ME opens, but it ends up taking a while (up to a couple minutes maximum) for the file to pop up.

    Also, sometimes when ME doesn't open I realize that the program is still technically running in the background so I have to go to task manager and end the process. Then, it begins to work normally.

    It doesn't matter how long I wait, it never shows in queue. I tried it through AE just now and same problem.
