Exporting Via AME From Premiere Produces Proxy Quality Exports

If I export my project straight out of Premiere and skip AME the export is fine. If I export my project to AME the export that AME produces looks to be proxy quality.

The file size is slightly smaller indicating to me it is using the proxies on export and not the source files.

Export with proxies is unticked.

The problem seems, in my case, to be with exporting from an external SSD. Exporting via AME with one of my regular RAIDs did not have this proxy quality export issue.

On a second export from the same project the file size was smaller, confirming that it is using the proxies for the export and not the source files.
