Font Missing only in AME. How do you fix this?

I have font style that got corrupted a few weeks ago. I replaced the font file on my computer and was able to edit and export projects from premiere, but I keep having periodic "missing font" warning from AME and then it renders projects with a default substituted font. How can I make sure AME is pulling the correct font files? Is there a way to "reset" the font library for adobe programs and then have it "reimport" the fonts on the local machine?
