How do I stop Media Encoder from stealing focus
There are at least 2 times that Adobe Media Encoder steals focus from foregrounded windows, even when minimized, and even if AME is already the foregrounded window (basically resetting focus from itself). In any variation, it is extremely annoying, prevents me from getting any work done until the behavior subsides, and potentially can have disastrous consequences if typing, dragging, or clicking something important (for example, the behavior would cause the user to fail a foregrounded biometric typing verification).
1) After starting an item in AME's queue, or upon reaching the 2nd VBR encoding pass, the Queue panel will flash focus for about 30 seconds afterwards. Even if the Queue panel already has focus. Entering AME and selecting the Queue panel to "satisfy" it has no effect.
2) After a queue item is completed, the Encode panel will flash focus for about 30 seconds afterwards. Even if the Encode panel already has focus. Entering AME and selecting the Encode panel to "satisfy" it has no effect.
The copy of AME CS5.5 that I still have doesn't exhibit this behavior, so I am assuming this is a new "feature" in CC.
In the AME Preferences, I see no options related to focus. I tried both with the (incorrect sheep-only) Chime checked and unchecked, but the result is the same. Where is the option to disable it?
