If a MOGRT is responsive design, ME won't Encode

As per the heading.  I made a responsive deseign MOGRT in AE with animation at the top and tail which works perfectly. In Ppro I can make it whatever duration i like and the animations are pinned in place.

If i render out of PP then it's perfect, if I sent to ME then nothing at all, just the video underneath the MOGRT is rendered which is hugley annoying if you need to render multiple versions. Is this a bug or a feature?

OSX 10.15.7 (happened on 10.13.6 too)
