Incompatible JPEG 2000?

I have tried to import J2K files (MXF and other) produced by the Kakadu encoder (from Resolve) - to no avail - I specifically used IMF packages in order to produce standard BCS profiles.

For RGB files, I keep getting "Invalid format or damaged file".

Some YUV files can get imported but do not render correctly.

These files are decoded just fine with all other tools, including ffmpeg.

Is the problem with the Adobe decoder?
