HiI am creating an animation in after effects for a sports game LED system that has the dimensions 5280x96px. Is there anyway of exporting this in Mp4 format with H.264? I know H.265 allows for this to be exported at this size but H.264 doesn't and reduces the width to 4096px. However I know not all systems support H.265. I would appreciate any expertise in this. Thanks.

Hi All,Strange problem never come across before.I have a premiere sequence I send to AME to encode H264 1920x1080 - high bitrateThere are 2 issues:1. At the start of the sequence I have audio that plays perfectly on the premiere output window but when rendered via AME cuts of the first second or so. I have checked everything in premiere and I export entire sequence not in/out etc.2. I have some video/audio that is synced and sounds perfect in premiere but when rendered (same settings as above) causes it to be out of sync by a second or 2.Any ideas please?ThanksChris

I have a different audio issue in AME:I'm getting audio from a completely different project in short :20-:30 spots throughout the AME encoded file.  This only happens with mpeg2DVD files.

After upgrading AME from 2014 to 2017 dragging image sequence in to AME leads to different behavior.Now it asks me if i want to import each image separately or "stitch" them . Upon choosing latter AME creates one rendering node with all images however resulting output would make each image not equal one frame (which is only logical interpretation of image sequence) but instead each image in the sequence would last for something like a second - making it some kind of slideshow.How can i  achieve a result (which was previously a default) where each image in a sequence i import would be interpreted as ONLY ONE frame of resulting render?In case it's not clear -- image sequences (JPG, TGA , PNG DXF) is most common way to output animated materials in all VFX and animation related industries.I really not sure who would benefit from transforming frame by frame sequence in some kind of slideshows - but i'm certain it wouldn't be one of the many video VFX and animation professionals using a

I'm animating a large selection of png files in multiple projects..  In the past, I've imported them into Premiere and changed the Clip Speed / Duration, and rendered.  I need each png file to be displayed a certain about of time kinda like a slide show.  Since I'm dealing with 10s of thousands of frames to animate in multiple projects, this has been a slow process.I discovered only recently that Media Encoder can animate frames from a directory without using Premiere -- awesome!!   But I can't seem to change the Clip Speed / Duration What if I want each png file to be displayed for 1 second each? Where can I change this in ME?  I've spent hours researching and I'm coming up blank.  Is there a way to generate an animation from png frames where I can specify how long to show each png?Thanks!!!!

Sending render job out of AE to AME.  Comp is 1080x1080 square for Insta.  Have selected DNxHR MXF-Op1a format option, and using the resolution independent flavor of DNxHR-HQx.Inspecting the file in MediaInfo.app I can see the metadata says the display aspect ratio of the .mxf is 16:9 (wrong!).  Ingesting the file into various apps for QC yields different, and inconsistent results.  Sometimes it looks correct with 1:1 square aspect ratio, other times it adheres to the 16:9 flag and stretches.  The .xmp file produced by AME at the same time as the .mxf must be in the same folder to have the media interpreted correctly 100% of the time. Presumably the line {xmpDM:videoPixelAspectRatio="1/1"} is what alerts the video players (and/or AME on re-ingest) that the video is to be interpreted as square.  If I export the same comp to Quicktime .mov as DNxHR-HQx I do not encounter the aspect ratio issue.  Its just the .mxf file, which we obviously prefer.Anything

Hi,I noticed, that the effect "loudness normalization" does not work properly when rendering one source to multiple outputs at the same time. I have 2 outputs (both h.264 and aac audio) and added the "loudness normalization" to both outputs, but with different settings. The results are completely different from the renderings with only one output at a time, but with identical settings. It would be nice to render to more than one output with stable results! Or did I totally miss something?Best,Normann

Hej,I've been trying to render out a project and after different render settings, lengths, and options, my Media Encoder keeps failing at one specific time stamp. I've come to the conclusion that my source After Effects file may be corrupted in some way, since the render completely gives out no matter if I render half, 1/4, or just the end of the composition, and no matter what adjustments are made to my render settings,I'm unsure what I can do to rectify this issue, since in my source media at that specific time stamp, no new media is introduced (no new comps, frames, etc....seems to happen mid comp for one specific comp).Any idea what I can do to rectify the issue? Let's say I import a video (and let the Media Encoder make a proxy to be able to work with the video) and cut out a small part of the video in the middle. I then paste it in the timeline in Premiere Pro. I then want to export this cutout, but when I go to the export window the part that I cut out (which is in my timeline) is not there, instead of a clip from the beginning of the source video is shown (also the duration of the clip is the exact same as my cutout). Why does this happen?? Is it something common that can be easily fixed?Thanks!

Hi! I've been using prores LT for my editing and recently, I've tried DNXHD (LB only, don't need the higher ones) and found out that the file size is way lower than prores LT.My only problem is I can't find the option to match frame rate and resolution when batch transcoding mp4s to DNXHD. Doing it manually will take a long time when dealing with multiple frame rates and resolutions.Any suggestions?

When I render out of After effects through Media Encoder sometimes the audio warps and the timing is off. The audio is fin in AE just not after being rendered through AME. Is there a fix for this?

Hey There. I am having a major problem here trying to export alpha transparency in Media Encoder from After Effects. I've been pulling my hair for a week trying different settings/etc and when I finally seemed to get things down, then something else would pop up. So, now when I used all my fancy customized presets, I now get a stupid 'ring/border-like' artifact thing wrapped around my object (with transparency behind that!!!!!!!!!). I spent all night again Googling and trying different settings but the results are all the same.  http://slhgraphics.com/MediaEncoderAlphaAE/Media Encoder? NOT very intuitive and confusing process between the two, in my opinion. Shouldn't be this hard. I was getting 3gb files when I only needed 35mb and had to spend hours trying to figure out how to knock that size down in qt!!!!!!!! Not happy.

When I have multiple sequences in AME queuing to be encoded to MPEG2-DVD the final clip has some audio from a completely different project.  This has happened several times.  I am using the latest update Premiere 12.1.2 (build 69) .  So far, this has only happened when encoding to MPEG2-DVD or Bluray, not H.264.  I could possibly (although unforgivably) understand if all of the encodings were simultaneous, but since they are encoding one at a time, I don't understand how this could happen.

Windows 10 1803Adobe ME 12.1.2CUDA with 1x 1070 ti 3x 1080 tiTrying to encode cineform (.mov) proxies for hundreds of interviews. Every time I set it to go, it makes it through about 3-4 of them before hanging half way through one. Never hangs on the same one twice, just restarts the queue and hangs a few encodes later. Not unresponsive, but the encoding itself is frozen. I am still able to save the queue, but as soon as I go to close the app, it completely freezes and requires shutdown via task manager. Seriously need a fix for this

All the settings say 1920 x 1080 and it always renders as 2327 × 1080.

Hello everyone, My client expects us to deliver all videos in Full HD with a bitrate between 10 Mbit/s and 11,5 Mbit/s. Media encoder delivers different results for each clip - no matter what settings I use. I have tried 11,0 Mbit/s CBR and 11 Mbit/s VBR with both sliders (Min and MAX) set to 11,0 Mbit/s).I have also tried different profiles (Main and High) and levels. The videos are pretty much the same all the time - a model in front of a grey background. Some videos always come out with a too high bitrate, some always with a too low bitrate. I use mediainfo an ffprobe to check the bitrate of the videos. Does anyone have an idea how to fix thís and produce videos with an continous and precise bitrate?best regards, Martin

I'm trying to change the codec of 300 or so files through Media Encoder. However, if I try to select about 10 files at a time and just change the codec (not even rendering yet) the software freezes and becomes unresponsive.I can render only about 3 files at a time, one by one, before Encoder freezes, too. I contacted a technical agent who had access to my computer, and he helped with getting Encoder to work at all, but the freezing is very much still there.Just let me know what info you want about my hard/software in order for you to best help me.

When exporting the animation,it was exorted in .mp4 format but when opened the exported file it was just a sound file,no animation,only sound,but when trying it again the new exported file didnt appeared and the old remained,they appeared in media encorder cc but when exporting them somewhere they didnt appeared,please help me faster PLEAAAASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, I need to export video from premier pro 2018 in the following format: Entropy coding mode = CAVLC (Do not use CABAC!)AVC Profile = Main Profile and Level 4.0 (Main@4.0)Codec = H.264 (MPEG-4, Part 10)The new veriosn of Premier Pro CC does not have the older options.
