Issue with HEVC H.265 inside Adobe Media Encoder

Hello there! I'm writing because I'm not able to create proxy files for my Canon R6 Log clips. The problem seems to be the fact that Media Encoder doesn't read the HECV H.265 files, infact I am not even able to import these clips inside the prgram. But if I use my second camera (whose files are H.264) to create proxies everything is fine. How do I solve this problem? Why does Media Encoder not read R6's Log clips?

P.S. I have the HEVC extension in my pc for Windows 10, but Media Encoder still doesn't work
